Finally meeting up
Last Friday I met up with Deana from Dreamworthy Quilts and three of her friends. They had all travelled over from the US to attend Scrub Stitching which is an annual event hosted by Donna from Chookyblue. You can read all about here.
This meet up with Deana has been a long time coming.....we have spoken to each other on Zoom over many many years and it was lovely to finally meet her in person. The four US visitors came over to Manly via ferry from Circular Quay - a must do for anyone visiting Sydney. It was suggested that lunch should be fish and chips - also a must for anyone visiting Manly - and should be eaten using fingers not utensils. So off to the fish and chip shop and then to find a table with a waterview of the boats and harbour. Lunch was enjoyed by everyone. After lunch it was time to take the obligatory photo...a passerby obliged so all 5 of us could be in the photo.

FNwF
Not much happened in the sewing room last night but I did go through the pink scraps and pulled out suitable pieces for this month's RSC blocks.
During the week two small donation quilts were finished off
